Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable (Trainee) (Armed Police Battalion) in Kerala Police. Category No: 068/2026 & 069/2026. Vacancies: District wise (SCCC: 2 in SAP, 2 in KAP IV, 1 in KAP I, 1 in KAP II; Viswakarma: 2 in KAP II). Scale of Pay: 31,100-66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Battalion wise) (from candidates belonging to SCCC community and Viswakarma community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-08-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 33. Candidates born between 02.01.1993 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included). Age relaxation up to 35 years for SCCC candidates (born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2008) and up to 45 years for Ex-servicemen. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 168 cm. Chest: Minimum 81 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (without glasses). Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, Varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, defective speech/hearing. Must qualify in any 5 out of 8 events of the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Higher qualifications and qualifications declared equivalent by Government orders are accepted.
