Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr II (HDV) / Driver-cum-Office Attendant (HDV) in Various (Except NCC, Tourism, Excise, Police, SWD and Transport). Category No: 623/2024. Vacancies: District Wise (Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25,100 – 57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation (maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Form. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor vehicles with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test including 'T' test and Road test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near vision: 0.5 snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a Revenue District basis. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Applications not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions in Part II General Conditions are liable to be rejected.
