Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Physical Science in Collegiate Education (Training Colleges). Category No: 565/2022-566/2022. Vacancies: 1 (One). Scale of Pay: UGC Scale. Method of Appointment: By Transfer (Category No. 565/2022) and Direct Recruitment (Category No. 566/2022). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

For Direct Recruitment: 22-40. Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applies. No upper age limit for By Transfer appointment. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject or related field with not less than 50% marks or equivalent qualification. • M.Ed degree with not less than 55% marks. • Must have passed the Comprehensive Test conducted by UGC or any agency specially constituted by the State Government for this purpose. • For Physical Science: M.Sc degree in Physics or Chemistry and M.Ed with specialization in Methods of Teaching Physical Science. Technical Qualifications: • Preference will be given to candidates having adequate knowledge of Malayalam language. Experience Required: Three years of teaching experience in schools or colleges after acquiring professional qualifications. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Non-qualifying degrees like Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded additional marks for ranking.
