Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Sanskrit in Collegiate Education (Training Colleges). Category No: 121/2023 – 122/2023. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: UGC Scale. Method of Appointment: I. By-Transfer Recruitment (Category No: 121/2023), II. Direct Recruitment (Category No: 122/2023). Direct Recruitment will be considered only in the absence of qualified candidates for recruitment by transfer.. Age limit

For By-Transfer: No upper age limit. For Direct Recruitment: 22-40 (Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2001, both dates included). Usual age relaxation applies for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Masters Degree in the concerned subject or discipline with at least 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic records. • M.Ed Degree with not less than 55% marks. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed a comprehensive test specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. Experience Required: Three years teaching experience in Schools or Colleges after acquiring the professional qualifications. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent are sufficient.
