Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 – 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (District wise) - Only from male candidates belonging to SCCC, SIUC-Nadar, Hindu Nadar, LC/AI and Dheevara Community. Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Age limit
19-34. Candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible. Relaxation as per Part II of General Conditions. For adult members of SC converted to Christianity, upper age limit is 36 years. Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years.

Educational Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.

Physical Standards:
Height: Not less than 165 cms. Chest: 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Must be certified by a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant as to physical fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left). Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualifications prescribed for the post shall also be sufficient.

General conditions from the notification⌄
Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must undergo basic training for not less than six months. Preferences given to ex-servicemen. NCC Cadets with A, B, & C certificates get weightage marks. Confirmation for exam is mandatory if written/OMR/online test is conducted.
