Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest. Category No: 556/2022 to 563/2022. Vacancies: District wise (SCCC, Dheevara, Viswakarma, Muslim, SIUC Nadar, ST, SC, Hindu Nadar communities). Scale of Pay: ₹ 20,000 – 45,800/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to specified reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-01-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-33. Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. For SC/ST: 19-35 (born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003). Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation up to 35 years (born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Physical Standards: Male: Height - Minimum 168 cms (160 cm for SC/ST), Chest - Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion (5 cm expansion applicable for SC/ST). Female: Height - Minimum 157 cms (150 cm for SC/ST). Physical Efficiency Test and Endurance Test (2 Km run in 13 minutes for males, 15 minutes for females) along with prescribed medical standards. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates who have applied with equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification, should produce the relevant Government order to prove their qualifications equivalency at the time of verification.

Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one District in response to this notification. Candidates already in Govt. Service holding the same post in anyone district are prohibited from applying again. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years. One year training in forest training schools is mandatory.
