Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (HDV) (Ex-servicemen only) in NCC/Sainik Welfare. Category No: 531/2020. Vacancies: District wise: Ernakulam - Scheduled Caste - (1) one. Scale of Pay: Rs.18000 - 41500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates of Ex-servicemen belonging to above reservation community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste Community [including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions]. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles • Proficiency in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles will have to be proved through a practical test including 'T' Test and Road Test Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Those who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the respective Government Order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Probation: 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Selected candidates must be able to drive Light Duty Vehicles also. Differently abled candidates are not eligible.
