Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (HDV) (Ex-servicemen only) in NCC/Sainik Welfare. Category No: 529/2020-530/2020. Vacancies: District wise: Kozhikkode (SC: 01), Kannur (SC: 01), Pathanamthitta (Muslim: 01). Scale of Pay: Rs.18000 - 41500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates of Ex-servicemen belonging to above reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Muslim: 21-42 (born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1999); Scheduled Caste: 21-44 (born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Must possess valid Driving Licence and badge throughout all stages of selection process Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Those who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the respective Government Order.

General conditions from the notification

Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Selected candidates must be able to drive Light Duty Vehicles also. Differently abled candidates are not eligible.
