Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification. • Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (3 year course) awarded by a State Board of Technical Education or obtained from any institution recognized by the Central or State Government. • OR Any other qualification recognized as equivalent to Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering by the Central or State Government. Technical Qualifications: • Current valid Driving Licence authorizing to drive Motor Cycle, Heavy Goods Vehicles and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles. Physical Standards: Must possess good physical fitness. Height: Men - 165 cm (160 cm for SC/ST), Women - 152 cm (150 cm for SC/ST). Chest (Men only): Normal - 81 cm, Expanded - 5 cm. Vision: Must have clear vision without glasses (Right Eye: Distant 6/6 Snellen, Near 0.5 Snellen; Left Eye: Distant 6/6 Snellen, Near 0.5 Snellen). Colour blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of the eye are disqualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
