Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. • A Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (3 year course) awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or any institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government. • Any qualification in either of the above disciplines declared as equivalent to the above Diplomas by the Central Government or the State Government. Technical Qualifications: • Must hold a current valid Driving License authorizing him to Drive Motor Cycle, Heavy Goods Vehicle and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Male: Height 165 cm, Chest 81 cm with 5 cm expansion. Female: Height 152 cm. (SC/ST relaxation: Male 160 cm, Female 150 cm). Visual Standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes (without glasses). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. A probationer shall undergo 10 months training as per the schedule notified by the Transport Commissioner. Differently abled candidates are not eligible.
