Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. • Plus Two with Part III Arabic (Optional) course of Higher Secondary Board, Kerala. • SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (Part I & II) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • SSLC or equivalent examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed Arabic Munshi (Higher) examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR Arabic Munshi (Lower) examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by Kerala University or Calicut University. • Must have passed Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders for degrees like BA Arabic & Islamic History (Double Main) apply.
