Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Or a Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Or Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. • Or Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. • Or SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (Parts I and II) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Or a pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala, with any of the specified additional qualifications. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Or Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Or Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Or Entrance Examination for Arabic conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. • Must have passed Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders mentioned in notification apply.
