Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Sergeant in Museums and Zoos. Category No: 508/2021. Vacancies: 1 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100 – 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 22-12-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Other Backward Communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • (a) (i) Must be a Pensioned Officer not below the rank of Subedar in Army. OR (ii) SSLC or its equivalent qualification with six months Police or Military training. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit (to be proved by a Medical certificate issued by a Medical officer employed in the Government service, not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon ). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Applications of candidates who claim qualifications equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette Notification for the post will be considered only if they produce relevant Government order / equivalency certificate to prove equivalency at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profiles. Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims.
