Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) - Mathematics in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 490/2021. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe - 5 (Five). Scale of Pay: ₹45600-95600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from Scheduled Tribe candidates only. In the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates, Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-12-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the universities in Kerala. • In the absence of the above two categories, B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • MSc.Ed. with not less than 50% marks in the concerned subject from any of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by the National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT). Technical Qualifications: • Pass in State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by any agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Equivalency certificates/Government orders must be produced during verification if claimed.
