Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed 8th Standard. Technical Qualifications: • Must have proficiency in Boat pulling, Knots, Splices and Rigging, Handling single cylinder motor boats, Anchor work, and Swimming. • Practical test will be conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Physical Standards: Height: Not less than 160 cm (without footwear). Weight: Not less than 48 kg. Chest: Normal - not less than 78 cm, Expansion - not less than 83 cm. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

The rules regarding Part II KS&SSR are applicable except rule 3(c) of Part II. Appointment will be subject to special rules and orders regarding reservation for ST candidates.
