Category No: 452/2025. Vacancies: Anticipated. Scale of Pay: ₹ 43,400 – 91,200/-. Method of Appointment: By Direct Recruitment from qualified Ministerial Staff working in the Prisons and Correctional Services department who are approved probationers in any post in the department.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree of a recognized University. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards: Height - at least 165 cms (160 cms for SC/ST candidates); Chest - 81.3 cms round the chest on full expiration with a chest expansion of 5 cm. Women and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply. Must possess specified standards of vision without glasses (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen, full field of vision, free from color blindness, squint, and other morbid conditions). Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the Physical Efficiency Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) Part II applicable.

By Direct Recruitment from qualified Ministerial Staff working in the Prisons and Correctional Services department who are approved probationers in any post in the department.
