Category No: 451/2025. Vacancies: Anticipated. Scale of Pay: ₹ 43,400 – 91,200/-. Method of Appointment: By Direct Recruitment. Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree of a recognized University. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Height: 165 cms (160 cms for SC/ST). Chest: 81.3 cms with 5 cm expansion. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (both eyes). Must be free from physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) Part II applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, or found acceptable by the Commission, shall be sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be physically fit and pass a Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in at least 5 out of 8 items). Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Women and Differentially Abled candidates are not eligible. Training at Regional/State Institute of Correctional Administration is mandatory.
