Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) – LPS in Education. Category No: 430/2020 – 439/2020. Vacancies: District wise (NCA Notification). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25200-54000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/ Billava, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, LC/AI, Viswakarma, SCCC, Dheevara reservation communities only).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC, LC/AI, Viswakarma, SCCC and Dheevara candidates. For SC/ST candidates: 18-45 (born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002). For SC converts to Christianity: born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002 (upper age limit 45 years). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent ; and any one of the following qualifications: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala (as per GO (MS) 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019). Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification for each community. Candidates shall submit application to the concerned district where vacancy exists and shall not apply to more than one district. Selection is on revenue district basis.
