Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher - Statistics (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribe Only) in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 426/2025. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: 55,200 - 1,15,300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-12-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in concerned subject, B.Ed. degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not specified as mandatory, but 10 years of approved teaching service at the High School level in the General Education Subordinate Service provides exemption from SET. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post are acceptable.

The conditions laid down in paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3 (c) of Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) of General conditions are applicable. Appointment is subject to the rank secured in the ranked list and special reservations for Scheduled Tribes as per G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated 22.01.1994.
