Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L.D. Typist (Ex-Servicemen only) in N.C.C./SAINIK WELFARE. Category No: 404/2014. Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava – 01 (One). Scale of Pay: Rs.9,940 – 16580/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From ex-servicemen of Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava reservation groups of community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-10-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 50. Candidates born between 02/01/1964 and 01/01/1996 (including both dates). Includes period of Military Service and subject to eligibility of age relaxation for Ex-servicemen. Selected candidates should not have completed 56 years of age while joining duty. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Writer in the Defence forces for not less than 15 years is deemed as sufficient qualification. Ex-servicemen with service as Clerk (General duties), Clerk (Staff duties), Clerk (A.O.C.), Personal Assistants in the Army, Writers in the Navy, and Clerks (General duties) in the Air Force under Category 'Class I' or those with 15 years service in the Clerical cadre in the Defence Forces are eligible. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Certificate in Computer Word Processing issued by Central/State Government Department/Agencies/Societies/Universities after successfully completing a course of study not less than three months duration are considered equivalent. IMC Certificates in Typewriting will not be accepted.

General conditions from the notification

Selection is on Revenue District basis. Candidates advised from the Ranked list for appointment against Headquarters vacancies are eligible for transfer to another district as per G.O.(MS) 442/80/GAD. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying. If a Written/OMR test is conducted, hall tickets will be available on the website.
