Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L.D. Typist (Ex-Servicemen only) in N.C.C./SAINIK WELFARE. Category No: 603/2015 & 604/2015. Vacancies: District wise: Kannur (SC) - 1, Kozhikode (LC/AI) - 1. Scale of Pay: 9,940 – 16,580/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From ex-servicemen of the above mentioned reservation group of communities only). In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe will also be considered.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-02-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 50. Candidates born between 02/01/1965 and 01/01/1997 (Including both dates) only are eligible to apply. (Including the period of Military Service and also subject to the eligibility of age relaxation to the Ex-servicemen). Relaxation in upper age limit will not be allowed to this post. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE). • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent. Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Writer in the Defence forces for not less than 15 years will be deemed as sufficient qualification for the post. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. Certificate in Computer Word Processing issued by Central/State Government Department/Agencies/Societies/Universities after successfully completing course of study not less than three months duration is considered as equivalent to KGTE Computer Word Processing.

General conditions from the notification

The selection will be made on Revenue District basis. Candidates advised for appointment in one Revenue district are not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Candidates selected should not have completed 56 years of age while joining duty.
