Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of L.D. Typist (Ex-Servicemen only) in N.C.C./SAINIK WELFARE. Category No: 111/2016. Vacancies: District wise: Pathanamthitta - 01 (One), Ernakulam - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: 9,940 – 16,580/-(PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From Ex-servicemen of Muslim reservation group of community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-06-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 50. Candidates born between 02/01/1966 and 01/01/1998 (including both dates). Relaxation in upper age limit will not be allowed in any case. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting Malayalam (KGTE) • Lower Grade Certificate in Typewriting English (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Writer in the Defence forces for not less than 15 years will be deemed as sufficient qualification for the post. Ex-servicemen with service as Clerk (General duties), Clerk (Staff duties), Clerk (A.O.C) and Personal Assistants in the Army, Writers in the Navy and Clerks (General duties) in the Air Force, who were under the Category 'Class I' or those who possess 15 years service in the Clerical cadre in the Defence Forces are eligible. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Certificate in Computer Word Processing issued by Central/State Government Department/Agencies/Societies/Universities after successfully completing course of study not less than three months duration is considered as equivalent to KGTE Computer Word Processing.

General conditions from the notification

Candidates must be Ex-servicemen belonging to Muslim reservation group. Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates selected must pass Malayalam Typewriting (Lower) before completing probation (exempted for linguistic minority candidates whose first language for SSLC is not Malayalam). Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying. No application fee.
