Who can apply

Kerala PSC has invited applications for Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu) in Education (Category No. 370/2020 - 372/2020). Vacancies: District wise: Kozhikode - Scheduled Tribe (1), Scheduled Caste (1), SIUC(Nadar) (1); pay scale: Rs. 18,000-41,500/-; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to the above mentioned reservation community only). Age limit

For SC and ST: 18-45 (born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002). For SIUC (Nadar): 18-43 (born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. • Degree in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Adib-I-Fazil (Preliminary) Examination in Urdu conducted by anyone of the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Urdu Higher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • BA Urdu and Islamic History double Main Course by Kannur University. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Applications of candidates who have claimed qualification equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette Notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce Government Orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
