Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu) in General Education. Category No: 681/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Kannur: 01 One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25,100 - 57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian community only). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Urdu as an optional subject or as second language • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Urdu as an optional subject • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and a pass in Adib-i-Fazil Preliminary examination in Urdu conducted by the University of Calicut • A pass in Adib-i-Fazil Preliminary (New Scheme) examination which is equivalent to Higher Secondary Examination, conducted by the University of Calicut • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and a pass in Urdu Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Urdu language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu), in short D.El.Ed (Urdu), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.
