Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Urdu) in General Education. Category No: 865/2025 to 866/2025. Vacancies: District wise: Kozhikode (01 for SCCC), Wayanad (01 for SCCC, 01 for Dheevara). Scale of Pay: 25,100-57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to SCCC & Dheevara communities only). Age limit

18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible. In the case of adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children converted to Christian religion, the upper age limit shall be 45 years (born between 02.01.1980 & 01.01.2007). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Urdu as an optional subject or as second language • A pass in SSLC Examination and a pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Urdu as an optional subject • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and a pass in Adib-i-Fazil Preliminary examination in Urdu conducted by the University of Calicut • A pass in Adib-i-Fazil Preliminary (New Scheme) examination which is equivalent to Higher Secondary Examination, conducted by the University of Calicut • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and a pass in Urdu Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Urdu language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A Degree in Urdu and B.Ed in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu), in short D.El.Ed (Urdu), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post are sufficient.

Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Applications submitted in any other manner will be rejected. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their profile if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure, 1976 will be initiated against candidates submitting bogus claims.
