Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 292/2020-298/2020. Vacancies: Category 292/2020: 1 (SC/ST), 293/2020: 2 (ST), 294/2020: 2 (ST), 295/2020: 1 (ST), 296/2020: 2 (SC/ST), 297/2020: 1 (ST), 298/2020: 7 (ST). Scale of Pay: 32300-68700/-. Method of Appointment: Special Recruitment (SC/ST for Cat 1 & 5; ST only for Cat 2, 3, 4, 6, 7). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
• B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
• In the absence of candidates with B.Ed. in the concerned subject, B.Ed. degree in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
• In the absence of candidates with B.Ed. degree as specified above, any B.Ed. degree acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
• Alternatively, M.Sc. Ed. in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT.
Technical Qualifications:
• Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the Government of Kerala.

Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification.
