Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher- Computer Science (Special Recruitment for ST only) in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 20/2013. Vacancies: 5 (Five). Scale of Pay: 19240-34500. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-03-2013 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20 – 45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1968 and 01.01.1993 (including both the dates) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. Relaxation in upper age limit up to 42 years as on 01.01.2012 allowed for qualified ministerial staff under Higher Secondary Education Department. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the concerned subject/M.Tech Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology/Software Engineering with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University. • Master's Degree in Computer Application/Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University. • B.Tech/Bachelor of Engineering Degree with not less than 50% marks in any branch of study with Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology from a recognised University. • B.Tech/Bachelor of Engineering Degree with not less than 50% marks in any branch of study with Post graduate Diploma in Computer Application from recognised University or Lal Bahadur Sastri Centre for Science and Technology / Institute of Human Resource Development or Department of Electronics 'A' level accredited. • Masters Degree with not less than 50% marks in Mathematics/Physics with post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised University/Institute of Human Resources Development/Lal Bahadur Sastri Centre for Science and Technology or Department of Electronics 'A' level accredited. • M.Tech degree with not less than 50% marks in Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics engineering from a recognised University. • B.Sc Degree in Computer Science with not less than 50% marks and post Graduate diploma in Computer Application from a recognised University or Lal Bahadur Sastri Centre for Science and Technology/Institute of Human Resources Development or Department of Electronics 'A' level accredited. • M.Sc Statistics with not less than 50% marks with post Graduate Diploma in Computer application from a recognised University. General conditions from the notification
Every person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Appointment is subject to the rank secured in the Ranked List and conditions laid down in G.O.(P) No. 21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976 and G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated 22.01.1994.
