Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Fire and Rescue Officer (Driver) (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services. Category No: 187/2023. Vacancies: Anticipated Vacancies. Scale of Pay: 27,900 - 63,700. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-09-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-26. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable to Other Backward Classes, SC/ST candidates as per rule 10 (c) of Part II KS&SSR. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent examination. • Preference will be given to those who have diploma in Computer Application. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current valid Driving Licence of Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle or Heavy Goods Motor Vehicle or equivalent licence with endorsement. • Driving Licence should be valid through all selection stages including OTR, practical test, physical efficiency test, and interview. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit and possess specified physical and visual standards (Height: 165 cm for general, 160 cm for SC/ST; Weight: 50 kg for general, 48 kg for SC/ST; Chest: 81 cm normal, 5 cm expansion for general; 76 cm normal, 5 cm expansion for SC/ST. Visual standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes, Field of vision full). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
The rules and regulations regarding Part II of KS&SSR, probation, and execution of bond for service after training are applicable.
