Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Fire and Rescue Officer (Driver) (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services. Category No: 614/2022. Vacancies: Statewide (Viswakarma: 1 - One Only). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 – 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to the Viswakarma community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-29. Candidates born between 02.01.1993 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as provided under Sub rule(c) of the Rule 10 of the general rules) Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed Plus Two or its equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle with badge. Physical Standards: Height (without Footwear): 165 cms, Weight: 50 kgs, Chest: 81 cms, Chest Expansion: 5 cms. Standards of Vision (Without glasses): Distant Vision (Right Eye: 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye: 6/6 Snellen), Near Vision (Right Eye: 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye: 0.5 Snellen), Field of Vision (Full for both eyes). Must have full field of vision. Colour Blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. Must be certified by an Ophthalmologist and a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. In addition to the qualification specified, the qualification declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders as equivalent and higher qualifications shall be accepted.
