Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver GR II (HDV) / Driver Cum – Office Attendant (HDV) in Various (Except NCC, Tourism, Excise, Police, SWD and Transport). Category No: 17/2021. Vacancies: District wise (Anticipated Vacancies, Idukki: 03, Ernakulam: 01, Wayanad: 01, Kasaragod: 01). Scale of Pay: Rs. 18,000 – 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor vehicles with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in Driving-Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test including 'T' test and road test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Only those who have passed 'T' test are eligible for road test. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left eye), Near vision: 0.5 snellen (Right & Left eye), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Govt. Orders bearing verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates shall apply only through online facility available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district. The selection will be made on a Revenue District basis. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
