Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram - 1 (One) (III rd NCA). Scale of Pay: 25100-57900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From Ex-servicemen candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste reservation community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 19-06-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Relaxation as per para 2 of general conditions under Part II applies. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy duty vehicles and Motor Cycle • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Three years experience in driving heavy vehicles either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Hearing should be perfect. Right eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen. Left eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 snellen. Colour Vision: Normal. Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movements. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient.

Part II KS&SSR rules apply. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Selected candidates must be able to drive Light Duty Vehicles also. Differently Abled candidates are not eligible.
