Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Civil Police Officer in Police. Category No: 064/2017. Vacancies: Battalion wise (Wayanad District - KAP 4: 40, Palakkad (Attappady Block only) - KAP 2: 10, Malappuram (Nilambur Block only) - MSP: 4). Scale of Pay: 22200-48000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special recruitment for Scheduled Tribes residing in settlement colonies in the forests and forest borders of Wayanad district, Nilambur block in Malappuram district, and Attappady block in Palakkad district - preference to Paniyan, Adiyan, and Kattunaickan communities). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-05-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 - 31. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Upper age limit is 40 years for Ex-Servicemen. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination. • In the absence of SSLC holders, failed SSLC holders will be considered. • If sufficient qualified candidates are not available, educational qualification will be relaxed down to 8th standard. Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 160 cm (5 cm relaxation in height if sufficient candidates are not available). Chest: Minimum 76 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion (72 cm with 5 cm expansion for relaxation, provided 5 cm difference is maintained). Vision: Standard of vision without glasses (Right Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen; Left Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen; free from colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions). Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any 3 events out of 8 in the National Physical Efficiency Test (1-star standard). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable to this post.
