Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (LDV) /Driver Cum Office Attendant (LDV) in Various (Except NCC, Tourism, Excise, Police, SWD and Transport). Category No: 062/2024. Vacancies: District wise: Idukki (01), Wayanad (01). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25100-57900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to LC/AI community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-05-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/IIIrd Form. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicle with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection (Only those who have passed 'H' Test are eligible for Road Test). Experience Required: Valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicle. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. The Drivers Badge has been exempted for driving Light Motor Vehicles from 12.10.2018.

Candidates must register as per One Time Registration. Applications submitted in any other manner will be summarily rejected. Candidates must possess valid Driving Licence throughout all stages of selection. Differently abled candidates are not eligible. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post.
