Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (HDV) / Driver Cum Office Attendant (HDV) in Various (Except NCC, Tourism, Excise, Police, SWD and Transport). Category No: 061/2024. Vacancies: District wise: Idukki (01), Malappuram (01). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25100-57900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to LC/AI community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-05-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-42, Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply, including relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions. Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger vehicles with Badge • Proficiency in Driving Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles to be proved in a Practical Test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission (Only those who have passed 'T' Test are eligible for Road Test) Experience Required: Three years standing in driving Medium/Heavy Goods/Passenger vehicles Physical Standards: Hearing should be perfect. Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left eye). Near vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left eye). Normal Colour Vision. No night blindness. No paralysis, free movement of all joints. Nervous system must be perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, or which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification, shall be sufficient.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must possess a valid Driving Licence throughout all stages of the selection process. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
