Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Standard VII OR Equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a current Motor Driving License to drive Light Motor Vehicles and Heavy Motor Vehicles with Driver's Badge. • Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License shall be of at least 3 years standing. • In the case of Driving License issued after 16.01.1979, separate endorsement to drive Heavy duty Goods Vehicles and Heavy duty Passengers Vehicles. • The Driving Licence should be current at all stages of selection (date of application, last date for receipt of applications, practical test, and interview). Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Should be medically fit as per standards: Ear (Hearing perfect), Eye (Distant Vision 6/6 snellen, Near Vision 0.5 snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night Blindness Nil), Muscles and joints (No Paralysis and all Joints with free movements), Nervous System (Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable for this selection.
General conditions from the notification
Selection on statewide basis. Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years as per Rule 184 of KCS. Differently abled candidates are not eligible. A practical test including 'T' test will be conducted.
