Vacancies: District wise (Malappuram: 01 (One) 1st NCA - Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian; Wayanad: 01 (One) 1st NCA - Muslim). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25,100 - 57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Latin Catholic/Anglo Indian & Muslim communities of Kerala State only). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/IIIrd Form. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicle with Drivers Badge. • Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test ('H' Test & Road Test) conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection (Only those who have passed 'H' Test are eligible for Road Test). Experience Required: Valid driving licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicles. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: Right eye 6/6 Snellen, Left eye 6/6 Snellen; Near vision: Right eye 0.5 snellen, Left eye 0.5 snellen; Colour Vision: Normal; Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. The Drivers Badge has been exempted for driving Light Motor Vehicles from 12.10.2018.

General conditions from the notification
The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971. Probation: Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
