Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. • National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. • Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government Recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification. Experience Required: Three years experience in the trade after obtaining National Trade Certificate OR one year experience after obtaining National Apprenticeship Certificate. The experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/ Equivalency Certificate from the institution concerned.
General conditions from the notification
Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation from the date on which he/she joins duty for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a test is conducted.
