Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Junior Instructor (Catering and Hospitality Assistant) in Industrial Training. Category No: 881/2025. Vacancies: 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: 37,400 - 79,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-02-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19 - 44. Only candidates born between 2.1.1981 and 1.1.2006 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. • National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. • Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification. Experience Required: Experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience in the trade for selection to this post. As per GO (P) No.72/2024/LBR dated 09.10.2024, candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently Abled – Blind (Low Vision) shall be exempted from the qualification of experience. Physical Standards: Low Vision candidates shall be exempted from the qualification of Experience, provided that they produce a Medical Certificate in the format appended in the notification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualifications specified for the post, or qualifications found acceptable by the Commission, shall be sufficient.
