Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Junior Instructor (Upholsterer) in Industrial Training. Category No: 543/2025. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 37,400 – 79,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-01-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19 - 44. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2006 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. • National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. • Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government Recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification. Experience Required: 3 years experience for NTC holders or 1 year experience for NAC holders in the appropriate trade after obtaining the certificate. The experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience. SC/ST and Differently Abled - Blind (Low Vision) candidates are exempted from experience qualification. Physical Standards: 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled Candidates with disabilities as specified in GO (P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Equivalency/higher qualifications shall produce Equivalency Certificate/Government orders as and when required.
