For ST: 18–41 (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003). For SCCC: 18-39 (born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003). Note: Candidates belonging to SCCC who converted from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003) are eligible with age limit 18-41.

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Must have at least 150 cm height. Must possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, full field of vision, no colour blindness/squint). Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, defective speech/hearing. Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
