Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Women Civil Excise Officer in Excise. Category No: 310/2016 to 314/2016. Vacancies: District wise. Scale of Pay: 20,000 – 45800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from the communities mentioned in the notification. In the absence of candidates belonging to the SC community, applications from Scheduled Tribe Candidates will be considered.). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-11-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-34 (Born between 02-01-1982 and 01-01-1997) for Muslim, Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar and Dheevara communities. 19-36 (Born between 02-01-1980 and 01-01-1997) for SC community. (Including relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Minimum height 152 cms (150 cms for SC community). Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregularities and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes; Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes). Must qualify in any five events out of eight in the National Physical Efficiency Test (One Star Standard). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
As per Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Services Rules (KS&SSR). Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Selection is on a revenue district basis.
