Age limit

19 - 34. Candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included). Age relaxation applicable as per rules (e.g., 36 years for adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children converted to Christianity). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Height not less than 152 cms. Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes; Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes) without glasses. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post are sufficient.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates must undergo basic training for not less than six months. NCC Cadets and Students Police Cadet (SPC) certificate holders are eligible for weightage marks. Candidates must successfully complete an endurance test (2.5 km run within 15 minutes) and a physical efficiency test (qualify in any 5 out of 8 events).
