Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Women Civil Excise Officer in Excise. Category No: 196-205/2018. Vacancies: Community wise. Scale of Pay: 20,000 – 45800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from the communities mentioned above.) [In the absence of candidates belonging to the SC community, applications from Sheduled Tribe Candidates will be considered.]. Applications must be submitted online on or before 24-10-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-34. Candidates born between 2.1.1984 and 1.1.1999 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Muslim, OBC, LC/AI, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, Viswakarma, and Dheevara communities. 19-36. Candidates born between 2.1.1982 and 1.1.1999 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of SC, ST and OX candidates who have converted to christianity from SC community. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Minimum height shall be 152 cms, and in the case of candidates belonging to SC and ST community, minimum height shall be 150 cms. Endurance Test: running 2 kilometers race within 15 minutes. Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified under One Star Standard Test. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen for Right and Left Eye, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen for Right and Left Eye, without glasses. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection on revenue district basis. A candidate advised in one district is not eligible for transfer until 5 years of continuous service. NCC Cadets having 'A', 'B', 'C' Certificates will be given weightage marks of 2%, 3%, and 5% respectively.
