Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Tractor Driver Gr. II in Agriculture Development and Farmer's Welfare. Category No: 422/2022. Vacancies: District wise (Kannur - 01). Scale of Pay: ₹ 18,000 – 41,500/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only). Age limit

19-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. Technical Qualifications: • In the absence of persons with Diploma, National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from the I.T.I: (a) Mechanic (Tractor) (b) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (c) Mechanic (Diesel) (d) Fitter • Valid Tractor Driving License. Experience Required: Practical Experience of not less than one year in the trade acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I Trade Certificate. Physical Standards: Must possess the physical fitness and vision standards prescribed (Distant vision 6/6 snellen, near vision 0.5 snellen, full field of vision for each eye, free from colour blindness, night blindness, etc. as per medical and vision certificate formats). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming higher/equivalent qualification should produce equivalency certificate from the concerned Institution or Government Order proving equivalency at the time of certificate verification.

Appointments are subject to special reservations to Scheduled Tribes and rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II KS&SSR, 1958.
