Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Tourist Information Officer (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) in Tourism. Category No: 114/2022. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 50,200-105,300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-06-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree of University or its equivalent qualifications. • Successful completion (Pass) of the Certificate Course in Tourism Public Relation from a recognised University or Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies or Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management. Technical Qualifications: • Pass in Guide Training Course conducted by the Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies or any other similar Course Training under the Government of India or any other similar/higher training course recognised by Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim Higher/Equivalent qualification instead of the qualification specified in the notification shall produce equivalency certificate from the concerned Institution/ relevant Government Order proving equivalency, at the time of verification, for considering the qualification for the above selection.
