Age limit

18-37. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible. SC/ST and OBC candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Age relaxation is provided for provisional hands working in the concern, retrenched employees of Kerala Fisheries Corporation, and regular employees of the Board (up to 45 years). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering of the Kerala University or equivalent thereto • Licentiate in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from the Technical Institute at Kozhikode, Kalamassery, Thrissur or other equivalent course • Upper or Lower Subordinate Diploma of College of Engineering, Guindy • Group Certificate (KGTE or MGTE) including all four groups (Building Drawing, Building Construction, Survey, and Irrigation) OR a pass in eight specified subjects • KGCE in Civil Engineering Technical Qualifications: • Craftsman Certificate from Industrial Training Centre as Draftsman (Civil) or Draftsman (Mechanical) or Survey Trade Test Experience Required: Five years service under the Board is required for candidates possessing the Craftsman Certificate. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II KS & SSR applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Selection is subject to the rules and regulations of the Board. Sub paras v, vi, viii, ix, x, xi & xiii of para 2 and paras 5, 6 and 7 of the General Conditions are not applicable. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile if a test is conducted.
