Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in Physics with not less than 50% marks from a recognised University. Technical Qualifications: • M.Phil Degree in Physics from a recognised University (Preferential) • Two years Research/Analytical experience in Physics from a recognised institution (Preferential) Experience Required: Two years Research/Analytical experience in Physics from a recognised institution (Preferential). Experience must be acquired after obtaining the basic essential post graduate qualification. Physical Standards: Distant Vision: 6/6 (Snellen) for both eyes. Near Vision: 0.5 (Snellen) for both eyes. Each eye must have a full field of vision. Colour blindness is a disqualification. Candidates must be certified by a Medical Officer of or above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must adhere to Part II KS&SSR. Appointment involves 6 months training, a 2-year probation period, and a bond to serve the State Government for 5 years or pay liquidated damages of ₹25,000 plus training costs. Candidates must pass the Account Test for Executive Officers or Account Test (Lower) during probation.
