Age limit

20-36. Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST and other backward communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in Physics with not less than 50% marks from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • M.Phil Degree in Physics from a recognized University. • Two years Research/Analytical experience in Physics from a recognized institution. Experience Required: Two years Research/Analytical experience in Physics from a recognized institution (for those without M.Phil). Physical Standards: Must have normal vision. Colour blindness will be a disqualification. Must possess full field of vision. Must produce a medical certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalent qualifications admitted in the previous selection are accepted.
General conditions from the notification
Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Probation period is 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must execute a bond to serve the State Government for 5 years after training, failing which they must pay the actual training expenses plus Rs. 25,000 as compensation.
