Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable in Police (India Reserve Battalion Commando Wing). Category No: 136/2022. Vacancies: 198 + 1 NCA SCCC. Scale of Pay: Rs. 31100 - 66800. Method of Appointment: Direct recruitment through the Special Selection Board. Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-05-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Must have completed 18 years of age and must not have completed 22 years of age as on 01.01.2022. No relaxation in age will be allowed for any special category. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: 167 cms; Chest: 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Must be physically fit and free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Visual Standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (Right/Left), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (Right/Left). Each eye must have full field of vision. Colour Blindness, Squint or any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification must produce the relevant government order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Differently Abled and Women candidates are not eligible. Candidates must undergo Endurance Test, Written/OMR Test, and Physical Efficiency Test. Selected candidates must undergo 18 months of training, execute a bond of Rs. 50,000, and serve on probation for two years.
