Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Physical Education Teacher – High School (Malayalam Medium) in Education. Category No: 187/2018. Vacancies: District wise (Kozhikode - Dheevara – 1). Scale of Pay: 25200-54000/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From among the candidates belonging to Dheevara reservation community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 24-10-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. [The relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions are included]. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the Certificate of Physical Education issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (Certificate in Physical Education of Karnataka and TamilNadu states accepted as alternate; DPEd Course of Karnataka Secondary Education Examination board recognized as equivalent to CPEd). • OR A pass in the Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate Course in Physical Education conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Educations, Kerala or its equivalent. • OR Any degree in Physical Education (Regular Course) such as B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed etc. conferred or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala. • OR Ex-Servicemen of Army/Navy/Air Force who possess SSLC or its equivalent and Physical Training Course of the Armed Forces (Assistant Instructors Basic Course in Physical Education) / Army Physical Training Corps Instructors Course / Naval Physical Training Corps Instructors Course / Air Force Ground Training Instructors Course. Physical Standards: Differently Abled persons are not eligible to apply for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again, but can apply to higher posts. No application fee is required.
